Fire Awareness Course

Course summary
Course material is used in conjunction with current workplace fire safety guidance and legislation. Delegate understanding and knowledge is not assessed on this course.
Purpose
The purpose is to provide delegates with a greater awareness of the threat posed by fire to people, property and business continuity.
This course is ideal for induction processes for new employees under the aspect of fire safety and can be incorporated with other health and safety awareness to provide a full day’s programme in your business.

Duration
Half-day.
Cost
Per delegate £50 (plus vat).
Groups over 10 delegates, up to 16 (max) £500 (plus vat).
Training notes are available through our on-line resource centre at the time of booking. Refreshments are included at our Surrey training centres. A certificate of attendance, valid for two years, is issued at the end of the course.

Training Venue
We use three training venues. Prior to your course, we will send you joining instructions with full details of which location you will be required to attend.
Venue 1 – CTC at Parklands Business Park, Guildford, GU2 9JX
Venue 2 – Ramada Farnham, Seale, Nr Farnham, GU10 1EX
Venue 3 – Croydon Park Hotel, 7 Altyre Road, Croydon, CR9 5AA
Training can also be arranged at alternative venues or at your own premises and is subject to the availability of a suitable area for practical training and parking facilities for our trainer.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course delegates should:
- Understand their fire safety duties under the law.
- Be able to recognise the importance of effective evacuation.
- Understand how to prevent fire and limit fire spreading.
- Be able to identify the requirements of an effective fire action plan.

None.
